In-shop diagnostics are always free with no obligation. There is no charge if an in-shop repair cannot be completed. For mobile and on-site visits a service call rate applies, but the cost is confirmed before booking.

Cash, credit and debit card, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App and Apple Pay are all accepted. Pretty much all the usual methods ... just ask if you have a preference.

Parts are typically covered for 30 days. On labor, if something isn't right after a repair we'll work with you to make it right ... the timeframe depends on the nature of the job, but the commitment to standing behind the work doesn't have an expiration date. That's been the standard since day one.

Both options are available. Mobile and on-site service covers homes and businesses across Tampa Bay Southshore. In-shop service is available at 100 E Shell Point Rd, Ruskin FL. Some repairs ... particularly virus and malware removal ... are best handled in-shop with the device offline.

Most repairs are turned around within 24 hours. Some are completed within the hour ... common parts like power supplies, laptop batteries, RAM and drives are kept in stock. If a part needs to be ordered, turnaround may be a few days. You'll always be told upfront what to expect.

In many cases, yes. Data recovery is available for failed hard drives, corrupted SSDs and accidentally deleted files. Recovery isn't always guaranteed depending on the extent of the damage, but every effort is made before declaring data unrecoverable.

Yes. Virus and malware removal is best handled in-shop with the infected machine taken offline. Before bringing it in: disconnect from the internet, back up anything important if possible, gather your passwords, then contact us. Bringing the machine in offline helps contain the infection and protects your data during the process.

Both, depending on the condition. Hardware that still has usable life in it may be purchased ... bring it in and we'll take a look. Equipment that's truly at end of life is responsibly recycled rather than tossed in a landfill. If you've got an old machine taking up space, contact us and we'll let you know which situation you're in.

Act fast ... time matters more than anything else with liquid damage. The moment it gets wet: power it off immediately and do not turn it back on. Remove any external devices, battery if accessible, and gently tip the device to let liquid drain. Do not use a hair dryer or put it in rice ... both can cause more harm. Bring it in as soon as possible with the power off and kept that way. The sooner it reaches us, the better the odds of recovery. Liquid damage is not always fatal but turning a wet machine on before it's been cleaned and dried is usually what makes it permanent.

Often yes ... and it's frequently the smarter financial call. Adding RAM, swapping a hard drive for a faster SSD, replacing a worn battery or upgrading storage can give a machine a second life for a fraction of the cost of a new one. Compatibility is assessed before any parts are ordered, so you're never buying something that won't work with your specific model. If an upgrade path exists, we'll find it. If the hardware has genuinely hit its ceiling, we'll be honest about that too.

To a degree, yes. Simple software questions, settings issues and quick diagnostics can sometimes be walked through over the phone at no charge. That said, most real problems need hands-on attention ... a lot of what goes wrong with computers only reveals itself once you're looking at the hardware directly. If a phone call can solve it, great. If it can't, we'll tell you straight and get you in as soon as possible.

Yes. If a repair doesn't make sense, the conversation doesn't end there. We can point you toward local brick-and-mortar stores or online options that match your actual needs and budget ... without the commission-driven upsell you'd get from a retail floor. The goal is to get you the right machine, not the most expensive one. We've helped plenty of clients walk out knowing exactly what to buy and where to find it for the best price.

Yes. Full data migration is available ... files, photos, documents, browser bookmarks, email profiles and application settings can all be moved from your old machine to the new one. The old data can also be placed on a flash drive or external drive as a backup. Most transfers are completed within a day or two.

Yes. Small-scale and prototype 3D printing is available in-shop. Yes. This is run by Eric and his daughter Rythum as a team. Rythum handles the front of house ... intake, communication, and customer service ... and also does repairs. Eric handles the technical backend. Both are hands-on with every job. That means no handoffs through layers of staff, no disconnected service desk, and someone who actually knows your machine from the moment you walk in to the moment you pick it up. It's a family shop in the truest sense, and that local accountability matters.
